CC Registration Tip:
Host your first WURHA 2012 meeting in a computer lab and have all delegates who have not yet completed StrengthsQuest take the assessment at that time so they can complete their individual registration.
Registration for WURHA 2012 will begin the 1st of November 2011. To register, the WCC must first complete a School Registration Form online stating their school’s intent to attend the conference and whether or not their delegates need a StrengthsQuest code. Once UW-River Falls has received the School Registration Form, the Conference Staff will reply on a daily basis confirming the delegates registered and assigning StrenghsQuest codes. Delegates who are attending the conference will then submit a Delegate Registration Form, as well as submit an electronic signature on the Drug/Alcohol Waiver, and the Rock Wall Waiver if they are interested in participating in the rock wall during entertainment. All the information entered by delegates will then be entered into a database by the conference staff. The delegate as well as the Advisor/WCC will get confirmation when the registration form has been properly submitted. This will happen on a weekly basis and a daily basis on the week of the registration deadline.
Payment for WURHA will be accepted in money order or check form. Checks can be written out to “WURHA 2012”. If a delegation chooses to pay with check, it is asked that they send only one check for the entire amount, with their school’s name in the memo line. Cash or credit card payments will not be accepted.
The deadline for school registration is January 9, 2012. All individual delegate registration forms are due January 13, 2012. Alternates will be announced by January 16, 2012. The delegation cap for WURHA 2012 will be 16 delegates. However, schools are encouraged to register alternates and the conference staff will do their best to accommodate all alternates.
We will not be including a late registration date. Instead, we have made our registration dates as late as possible. We feel this creates a mutual respect between the conference staff and the schools. Also, this will alleviate schools from extra charges. To insure deadlines are met, schools will be kept informed of approaching deadlines with reminders and updates.
The check-in process will take place at Crossings Inn and Suites, conveniently located just off the main highways to River Falls. From here, delegations will be able to check into their hotel and check in spirit items. Registration is sure to be quick, efficient and accommodating to all teams.
