Welcome to the UWRF Crop and Soils Club website

UW-River Falls’ Crops and Soils Club attracts a variety of members with diverse agricultural interests, including Crop and Soil Science majors with Crops, Soils and Sustainable Agriculture options, Ag Business majors, Biotechnology majors, Ag Studies majors, Ag Engineering Technology majors and many others. Club meetings often include industry speakers that talk about the newest technologies, and/or recruit students for internships and jobs. Government speakers are featured as well, noting opportunites in the NRCS, EPA, USDA, and other entities. Students enjoy a variety of social events, including picnics, field trips, retreats, laser tag, bowling, ping pong, and tennis. They help with fundraising activities, such as putting together soil kits and sand cards that are distributed nationwide. Members travel with the club to participate in national crops and soils judging events and/or participate in regional and national meetings. You won’t find a more active student organization on this campus. It is a great place to network, meet new friends, and find a family away from home.
